My setup consists of 3 4k TVs, 2 720p displays and 1 1080p display. I set my mixed mode to get the best out of my use case. If the input is 1080p and connected to 1 4k, connecting another will result in no signal loss on the other TV. However, when using more than 2 TVs I get a flickering problem (which my old cheap 8 port HDMI splitter from eBay had). Then when I plug in a 480i/480p signal, it scales strangely. Changed from 640x480 to 1440x480. It should be 800x480 if you want to keep the correct aspect ratio. I tried to connect a 720p source, and turning on one of the TVs resulted in a loss of signal for a good few seconds on all connected displays. I'm disappointed because the only thing I got from it was HDCP 2.
