Perfect rug if you have furry animals or children who bring dirt/trash with them. I like changing carpets often because furry animals are in and out of the house throughout the day. This rug is perfect for the bathroom or anywhere in the home. Soft with short down. Sucks well, doesn't suck, stays on the ground. The rubber backing works as it should, the mats stay in place. Do not wash in the washing machine. After that, it doesn't look straight and crisp. If it takes that much washing to get in the car, I would buy a new carpet. The down is short enough to be brushed off and is easily cleaned with a damp towel. I use a detergent spray (Tide or Clorox) or Odoban all natural eucalyptus spray to keep the carpet germ free and smelling nice. This rug dries quickly. Exactly what I need and looks great
