Review on Dorman 674 512 Exhaust Manifold Kit by Ryan Yap

It may have worked for others, but it turned out to be complete garbage for me. The casting is very rough and all the outlet ports have burrs on the edges. I suppose I could sand them down myself, but shouldn't such things be the responsibility of the manufacturer, not the buyer? Very low quality. To top it off there are 3 threaded holes on the back of the manifold which are not used on my particular Honda Del Sol model and one of these holes was overdrilled and actually drilled through the manifold wall. You can't see such a defect just by casually looking at the manifold, so after installing and starting the engine, I immediately heard and felt exhaust gas pouring through this hole! Gaskets and thermal protection are fine. Unfortunately, the part that really counts doesn't matter. I returned it to Revain for a refund who they processed quickly and then I rushed to get an additional $100 to get the manifold direct from Honda (Majestic Honda in Rhode Island). There is no comparison between the two collectors. A high quality Japanese product versus a "deal made in China". Dorman usually offers some pretty good aftermarket parts, but in this case we just have one big fat twist and one slip.
