I will never use cheesecloth again! Washed, dried and popped these towels for immediate use to strain my yogurt and cheese in the slow cooker. You have done an excellent job. The fabric remained strong and the food content of the fabric was easy to handle with no spills. They are so big that they cover every culinary project I can think of. Fabrics are easy to pick up, wash and reuse. No coloring so far. The fabric did not absorb any foreign odor. The fabric didn't give the food an odd taste. They also make very good all-purpose kitchen wear. They actually clean up my mess and dry my dishes! Other clothing items seem to repel liquids and quickly become stinky. Not this one. The best at all!
