🍽️ Utopia Kitchen Flour Sack Dish Towels - 12 Pack, Ultra Absorbent Cotton Kitchen Towels - 28 x 28 Inches Review

Bought to make custom kitchen towels. The fabric is thin (a real flour burlap towel) but the heat transfer vinyls worked great.

Although labeled as 100% cotton, the tags (as you can see in the photo) indicate that they are 65% cotton and 35% polyester. They are also wafer thin. To return!

We are cloth diapers and learned from the Fluff Love & CD Science Facebook group (Fluff Love University website) to simply use flour sack towels as a liner. Never let the compression leak like microfiber diaper liners do. They are very soft and larger than the towels I got from Target.

I read the reviews and there were so many I bought it. Unfortunately, I find them very absorbent. I even washed them first thinking that might be a problem but they remain water repellent. I am very disappointed and will keep looking for something to dry my dishes with.

I have ordered 3 of these. I plan to print them and sell them at craft fairs. I am very disappointed in the quality and inconsistency. The first package I opened was perfect. No complaints. They were thick, straight, and brilliant white. However, the next two packages I opened were very thin. I washed them all as directed. Cold water on a gentle setting. I make cute kitchen towels from these towels. Unfortunately I usually have to throw out at least 4 towels out of a dozen due to towel shortages. They are woven with brightly colored thread, large clumps of thread that cannot be removed without making a large hole, and recently I have found continuous strands of thread as well as holes, particularly in the seams. If you buy them to mop the floor they are fine, but if you want to embroider or decorate you will be very disappointed!

I will never use cheesecloth again! Washed, dried and popped these towels for immediate use to strain my yogurt and cheese in the slow cooker. You have done an excellent job. I cut flour sacks into four or six pieces and sew the raw edges together to create reusable, bleachable and washable alternatives for many tasks that would otherwise require paper towels. This year I'm making them for friends as Christmas gifts; High quality Utopia kitchen towels with thoughtful, fancy packaging making them a very nice gift presentation!
