This KidCo Floor Protector works great to keep the pet door from rubbing on my hardwood floor, which for some reason keeps moving. The small round feet on the bottom also hold the gate in place better. The unit is wide enough for most standard gates so installation was not a problem. Flexible and durable. There isn't enough light in my room so I didn't see the glow effect. Recommend watching your pet so they don't think it's a toy.
