These are listed as standard grip rugs and any other standard grip rugs I buy are perfect for my wedding invitations. However, these mats are more like super sticky mats. After I cut out my wedding invitations when I went to remove the carpet they tore it up and didn't pick it up. I tried using a spatula to lift them and nothing worked. When I finally took everything off, the mats were so sticky that there was still some paper on the mats. There is still sticky residue on the paper. Don't mark it as a standard grip if it isn't. Needless to say I now have to order more mats from another company. You should probably just stick with the Cricut brand. Photographs of carpets with residue are taken after I use a scraper to remove all of the pieces from the carpet.
