Wish it was more durable

I bought this on the best day ever and was so excited, used it twice before it broke, the plate is unreliable and moves too much for my liking , I had to use STRONG pressure for it to cut even a sliced tomato. The smaller cube was broken with chopped tomatoes, and the larger one with chopped potatoes. Now I can only use slicing inserts. Very disappointed but can't expect too much for the price I paid…
