As heavy as a bicycle helmet, but still a good helmet.
Got this on Revain for a great deal for about $10. YES, $10! For $10 this is a decent helmet but if I were looking for other helmets specifically for cycling and they cost $30 as they are now I would look for something lighter. Since it is an all-round sports helmet, it is slightly heavier than a bicycle helmet. I find it offers good protection and my child loves it so I kept it. I love the protection it offers both around the back of the head and on the forehead. If my kid needed a multisport helmet I would say it's a good helmet for the price even $30 but not if the sole purpose is to be worn as a bike helmet due to the added weight.
