Appears to work well. Mounting the clamp on my bike's down tube was a little tricky just because my frame doesn't use round tubes. They're more of a D-shape. Also, NO bolt that goes through the fork crown is included. This is the hole that the front fender attaches to. If your bike has fenders, the bolt is probably already there. My bike currently has no fenders or studs and the hole is unthreaded. So I had to run to the hardware store to get a long enough bolt (I think I used M6x50), 2 washers, a lock washer and an M6 hex nut. I was able to find flat black hardware to match my flat black fork. Haven't had a chance to take this bike on a shopping trip or anything, so I'll let you know if anything changes. I can completely replace the plastic down tube clamp as another reviewer did.
