Review on 🏎️ Glorious Cabrio2 Model Car: A Truly Exquisite Collectible by Darrell Kiley

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor instructions, missing parts, impossible to assemble with pliers. That does not work.

This is what disappointment looks like. The only downside to this is that the metal components are a lot thicker than the Metal Earth models, so the attachment points aren't likely to break if you need to loosen them - and you'll have to loosen them multiple times. once. The same attachment points do not bend easily and are often difficult to find in some places. I had to use pliers, needle nose pliers, an X-Acto knife, a sculpting tool, super glue and more to try to put it together and it was very frustrating at every step. It didn't help that a photo-etched tree was missing three small details. How can this even happen, but I was actually able to work around it. But even after following the assembly instructions exactly, the thing didn't start. It didn't help either that the gears barely touched in some places and the entire network of mechanics was cumbersome at best and not nearly as reliable as one would expect from the price point. When I tried to fix the lack of wind ability, the spring itself popped out of the part it was in and my arthritic left hand couldn't properly hold it to rewind no matter how hard I tried. In the end it wasn't worth it. Again, given the cost, it should have been a much more reliable and sophisticated model, but in the end it just sucks. I have built several wooden Rokr models. Stick to them. They're fun, they go well together and the best part is, when you finish building them IT WORKS! I am only giving these two stars for the quality of the metal parts and the fact that they are so simple that you can recreate them.
