I got the 2" version for the 2005 Outback 3.0. My pipe was slightly larger (1-2mm) so I had to hand file the file for a perfect fit. The flange is behind the converter rotten. After removing what was left of the old flange there was a weld ring left around the pipe which clips behind this weld ring leaving you with a new flange. I was a little skeptical until I finished the install but this one new flange is stronger and will survive the rest of the exhaust. The item came with all the parts shown in the photo.
