I have used many rebuild flanges over the years but these are the best I have ever used. They are of high quality and very easy to use.

Two flanges attached to the exhaust pipe, held together with a donut in between. The flanges are almost completely rusted. One side had 2" pipe and the other side had 2 1/4" pipe. This is where the long hole comes into play. I bought a set of bolt springs and used some longer bolts with springs. I also used four heavy duty washers to hold the springs and bolts in place.

I got the 2" version for the 2005 Outback 3.0. My pipe was slightly larger (1-2mm) so I had to hand file the file for a perfect fit. The flange is behind the converter rotten. After removing what was left of the old flange there was a weld ring left around the pipe which clips behind this weld ring leaving you with a new flange. I was a little skeptical until I finished the install but this one new flange is stronger and will survive the rest of the exhaust. The item came with all the parts…
