I'm writing this review for those who want to buy. This is a high quality metal plaque for your truck. Looks great as an OEM. The factory badge can be easily removed by prying it off. The factory model has dowel pins protruding through the grille. On some trucks (like my 2016 1500) it may be necessary to cut or compress the rear tabs to get them out of the grille. Once it's done, just rip it off. You'll see that GM also uses duct tape. My 2018 2500HD has dowel pins on the Z71 factory badge, but they're smaller than the holes they go through, so they pop out easily. Once you gently pry off the old badge, stick double-sided 3M tape to the back of the new badge, align and press firmly. I can absolutely guarantee it won't come off. My last one survived hitting a concrete wall at 60mph thanks to an idiot who can't drive. Even though I nearly died, the Z71 badge stayed perfectly attached to the grille. The good news is that they are very easy to install. You don't even need a clamp. Just a little tape and you're good to go.
