I bought an external SYBA USB stereo audio adapter for my Antlion ModMic 5 to hopefully eliminate some of the noise generated by my motherboard's microphone port, unfortunately it was a lot worse compared to much louder, clearer hum and much quieter mic feedback. It's cheap and will do if your audio ports are dying, but if you're looking for something to boost the quality of your mic you should probably look elsewhere. The device is also wider than most standard USB devices, allowing it to block ports on either side. This was tested both directly on the mainboard and with a powered USB hub. Pros: + Cheap + Audio outputs. Cons: - Cheap build quality - Poor microphone quality - Blocks nearby USB ports.
