2017 Gmc Sierra Denali 6.2

Just so everyone knows my truck has done 63,000 miles. Installed it on my truck within 4 days. To be honest, I personally haven't noticed any improvement in my truck's performance. If anything, I lost a bit of fuel economy and it seemed like my shift points were rougher than they already are (assuming those truck owners are aware of the transmission issues). I've noticed a sharp downshift especially sometimes when stopped at a traffic light or stop sign. The only spares on my truck are a k&n cold air intake system and a '70 Flowmaster exhaust system. However, the range programmer was very easy to install. Just plug in and get started. I know he hasn't been there very long but I thought if it came down to it I'd notice after 4 days of riding with him and I didn't want it to cause any negative issues considering I'm with I've had bad experiences with some programmers. in the past. It didn't give out any codes or turn on the engine light. I just felt like having it on my truck wasn't worth the money if I didn't notice a difference in performance or increased fuel economy. I can pay that money to a tuner that will still eliminate v4 mode and let me tune other engine parts as well. Just my personal opinion. But to answer the main question, yes it does what it says and keeps the engine in V8 mode at all times. For this reason and for the ease of installation I gave it 3 stars.
