Truck Parts A pair of 38 lb gas springs. 27.5" expanded and 15.6" compressed (measured from the center of each ball mount). Overall unfolded length 29" (measured tip to tip). Use a tape measure to measure the gas spring on the door to be replaced. Measure from the CENTER of the gas spring head (small plastic end) to the other side. DO NOT measure from the end of the Gas stops, your measurement will be too long Please note that most applications allow for a 1-5% resizing
