I ordered this for my 9 year old who has used real telescopes and was very excited. Right out of the box and after assembly, this telescope didn't work. For a very young child who wants to play stargazing, this is a good toy. For a kid who is desperate to see him, that doesn't work. I would have sent it back but it was past the return deadline when it was given as a birthday gift so we just threw it away. Terrible waste of money.
