(They block low reviews.) I really liked the mug, the look and the size, but I was so surprised to see the quality of the plastic inside . Lid! Definitely not like BPA free. That's probably why they say you have to take it out to put it in the microwave. There is no information on the mug or box that the product is BPA-free or what temperatures are appropriate for the item. Hot drinks come into contact with plastic on the inside, not on the outside of the cup - that makes no sense. It also has the number 3 on it, indicating that it can detect toxic substances. Send back.
