I drink hot tea all day and was looking for something to keep the water hot and easily accessible all day. Now I heat water over the stove. That wasn't an answer for me. It has been cooking for a long time. This place was cheesy and water was spilling onto the counter (I don't know if it was from steam or a leak, but the counter was a wet mess). I couldn't drink tea even after boiling and pouring three teapots because of the plastic taste. It may have gone away over time as the manufacturer says, but I didn't want to keep it long enough to find out. All in all too much hassle for me.
