Review on Rule Mate RM1100A Automated Switch Required by Brian Shakey

I bought this pump from another site before reading all the negative reviews. The two most common complaints were that the device either wasn't pumping water or wouldn't turn off after pumping. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before ordering the first one that didn't pump water or shut off. Then I read the reviews and because I liked the design and the idea of the auto shut off I decided to order these from Revain because they can't all be bad. does not turn off after all water has been pumped out. It's 2 to 2, so I'm done. My real question is why are online retailers like Revain selling a product that doesn't have a lot of very negative reviews? It costs them money and causes trouble for the customer.
