These thermal labeled DVD blanks come vacuum packed rather than in a hard case, which I like as I have empty disc cases. that either have to be thrown away or can now be reused with such smart packaging. So far there hasn't been a single defective plate in this stack, but it seems that there is always one or two defective plates in every plate pack. , so if I come across a few bad ones in this stack, it won't surprise me, and I most likely will be. My decades-old Casio thermal printer prints directly onto the white side of these thermal label discs and the result is a clean, crisp print that is a direct indication of the superb quality of the thermal label side coating on the disc. My concern: I hope my Casio disk printer will last a long time because I can't find a replacement for it anywhere online.
