I am very happy with them, they work great in my Rimage PrismPlus

I am very happy with them, they work great in my Rimage PrismPlus! Printer. We have had very few defective DVDs in our copiers. I wish people who gave this product a low rating would correct their reviews as it seems like everyone tried to use it on an inkjet printer and not a thermal printer.

Great price good quality

Blank DVD burners have become a commodity. The quality across the industry is relatively high as there really aren't many manufacturers, so most of the time you buy a brand name or none at all. The Verbatim name has been around for a long time, and the company itself has had its ups and downs. The company is now a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, a respected name. As for the DVD, they match the adverts. Relatively inexpensive, my 16x printer writes reliably, and the thermal…

These thermal labeled DVD blanks come vacuum packed rather than in a hard case, which I like as I have empty disc cases. that either have to be thrown away or can now be reused with such smart packaging. So far there hasn't been a single defective plate in this stack, but it seems that there is always one or two defective plates in every plate pack. , so if I come across a few bad ones in this stack, it won't surprise me, and I most likely will be. My decades-old Casio thermal printer prints…

Not for printing on Primera Bravo

Attention! Like other reviewers, we have found that the glossy white finish of these DVDs renders them unprintable in our copier/printer, making them virtually unusable for our distribution purposes. It's a pity that I didn't prepare other reviews and full product descriptions more thoroughly.

Unprintable for blank media

When they arrived, I was worried. The white print area appeared too smooth to print. I burned a few for a project to find out that my Epson Artisan 725 just sprayed ink on them. Absolutely terrible. I've used hundreds of other discs on various projects and have never come across this. Absolutely the worst. I would NOT recommend it.

Scope of delivery as expected, but packaging could be better

Parts were as expected - sealed 50-disc spindles. I've been buying these from another seller for many years but switched because this seller offers free shipping. In the past when I ordered 200's they came in original Verbatim boxes (from another supplier) which had 4 spindles (200 discs) with an inner cardboard pad - each spindle slid down into a sort of cardboard 'cocoon' . . Very well protected. This order of 200 was packed in a regular box with sporadic bubble wrap around the spindles…

Pros
  • Compatible with 4X DVD-R drives from Sony, Pioneer and other manufacturers. Reading is compatible with most DVD-ROM drives and video players.
Cons
  • weak

These thermally sealed blank DVDs are packaged in a thick plastic wrap rather than a hard case, which I love because I have empty disc cases that either have to be thrown away or can now be reused with this type of packaging. intelligent packaging. So far there hasn't been a single defective plate in this batch, but it seems that there is always one or two defective plates in every pack of plates, so if I come across a few defective plates in this batch, then they won, which won't surprise me…

  • Tough, reusable 'cake box' spindle to protect from dust and damage during long term storage.
