Blank DVD burners have become a commodity. The quality across the industry is relatively high as there really aren't many manufacturers, so most of the time you buy a brand name or none at all. The Verbatim name has been around for a long time, and the company itself has had its ups and downs. The company is now a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, a respected name. As for the DVD, they match the adverts. Relatively inexpensive, my 16x printer writes reliably, and the thermal printing surface makes a good impression. Good value for money especially when you have Revain Prime to cover shipping costs. Jerry
