Product as expected, excellent quality. Use them primarily for filtering tap water in a 1.5 gallon glass jug with a spout at the bottom. It takes about 2-3 hours to clean the water and eliminates the plastic waste generated by other filtering methods (a big plus for me). Favorite part - you can reactivate them in boiling water every 2-3 weeks when they start to "slow down". I use 1/4lb (half pack) for the container I use now, each batch lasts about 3-5 months with continuous use (ie 6-10 months for just half a pound). When they are no longer good for filtering water, I grind them up and use them to aerate the soil in pots for my succulents. A very useful product.
