Great hand held tire inflator

I have used a corded tire inflator in the past and it was very inconvenient for checking and inflating tires. You will need another tire pressure gauge to check the pressure after inflation as the built in gauge is not as accurate. It's always a hassle to unwrap and unwrap the power cord and inflation hose to fit them back into the inflation compartment. The next item I bought was a small Harbor Freight air compressor. It's a good device when you're servicing multiple vehicles when it inflates. gets tired in seconds but the problem is you can't take it in the car because it's bulky and needs AC power. It also has print accuracy and cable/hose unwind issues like the first one. This portable air compressor from Akaso solves these problems. It features a built-in digital pressure gauge that displays actual tire pressure, as well as an adjustable target tire pressure preset. When the set pressure is reached, the device will stop automatically. I compared the readings with a dial gauge and they were accurate, both 32psi. I drained a tire to 20psi to test the unit and it hit the target of 32psi in exactly 3 minutes (245/40 subcompact tires). × R18). I then checked the remaining tires and all 4 tires on the SUV and inflated them from actual 29.5psi to target 32psi in less than 1 minute each. I started with a fully charged battery and ended up with the battery gauge still showing 3 out of 3 bars. If you need it in an emergency and the battery isn't charged, there's an emergency power source that uses the car's cigarette lighter socket. AC adapter or small air compressor. The only precaution is not to touch the hose where it connects to the inflator as it can get hot, especially after prolonged use. But that's normal, compressed air heats up anyway.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
