Bright. It works. They require batteries and need to be replaced frequently as they dim fairly quickly and the power supply is not included. I'm glad to see slides of my 95 year old father's life, but I wish I had shopped and spent time shopping for comparisons. I fell for a higher price = better product? If you do your research before you buy, you may find that this item is better, or you may find that another item is better value.
