Review on πŸͺœ Corner Pro Multi-Purpose Ladder Stand-Off & Stabilizer by Leonard Babers

Great product, but you should know. . .

Very well built, durable, top quality, feels secure. This is a kit that includes a base that can be easily and securely attached to the stairs and a set of brackets designed "and not only" for corners. There are several other hands of different sizes and shapes available for this product, which I will be purchasing as well. Any durable product of this type adds weight to the ladder, requiring more labor to lift and move it to get it in place. MORE IMPORTANTLY - for a person working alone, descending a ladder from a vertical is more or less unable to control the rate of descent using the traditional method of descending a ladder. This will result in a "hard landing" and possible damage to this product. Possible actions: Have a second capable worker catch the slab or hold the base while the first lowers it, or find another way to keep the base securely on the ground while lowering. (It's not possible nor safe to attach or detach this device to a ladder once you've gone up.) One of the reasons I bought it was to reattach a short piece of slide that had fallen off. With my hands on the shingles, I was in a great position to work on the gutter. This seems like the perfect solution to this situation (and the ONLY option other than a hydraulic lift or scaffolding). I am very satisfied with this product and will find a good way for a person to put it down gracefully. .
