It's my fault but I got the stand in May and felt how strong the base is and put it away as I don't use it often. I've just used the base (August) for the first time and found that the 3/8 to 1/4 converter wasn't included in the box - thought the silver connection on the bottom was the wrong way around to get a Different size or something like that when I first looked. I needed it yesterday, pulled it out of the closet and it only has a 3/8 inch side so now I have to go and find an adapter. A little bit frustrating.
