I got this tripod rest for the projector and it does a great job! It screws right onto my tripod and tripod adapters so I can tilt it to the right angle. FIY: All I needed was a sheet of sticky felt that I taped to the inside of the tray. I think I hope this helps keep it from slipping. But once set up, it stays in place. I just felt like something else was needed.

I already had a good quality tripod for my cameras so all I needed was a tray for our projector, not another tripod with a tray. The tray comes with threads from 3/8" to 1/4".
