I already had a good quality tripod for my cameras so all I needed was a tray for our projector, not another tripod with a tray. The tray comes with threads from 3/8" to 1/4". Adapter required to mount the tablet on a tripod. Once you screw the adapter into the tray mount (using a regular screwdriver), it stays installed forever. The all-metal construction makes the tray strong enough to handle our projector with ease, while the elastic strap keeps the projector from moving when it's on the stand. A very simple product, but it does its job 100%!
