For almost 6 months this unit worked perfectly and then would refuse to charge or die after just a few seconds or when I hit a bump in the road. I took it apart and found that the IC's controller was covered in white fur/powder rendering the entire unit unusable. Now this item will NEVER get wet and the circuit board is actually sealed in plastic so the only answer is that it was intentional.
