Bought to replace a battery that was not holding a charge. This one is very big. The included mounting system is not suitable for mountain biking, which is what I use it for, but it fits nicely in a top tube bag. I live in Minnesota and the cold winter weather is draining the batteries - they lasted almost 2 hours outside in about 8 degrees Fahrenheit and powered a 1100 lumen light. Absolutely normal.

For almost 6 months this unit worked perfectly and then would refuse to charge or die after just a few seconds or when I hit a bump in the road. I took it apart and found that the IC's controller was covered in white fur/powder rendering the entire unit unusable. Now this item will NEVER get wet and the circuit board is actually sealed in plastic so the only answer is that it was intentional.

I like the battery itself and it seems to be well made, BUT: The cover for the battery holder is VERY poorly made. When I first tried to attach it to my frame, BOTH straps stretched. The stitches were very weak threads, not bars like they should be and the ends of the straps hadn't melted so they just came off. I had to melt the ends, re-sew the attachment points, and test it myself. TERRIBLE cheap design!

So this is a 'semi' long term rating. I bought this battery to pair with my new majic shine 906 as this battery had more capacity than the magic shine. This battery worked great for 6 months and I think it lasted longer than the MS battery but now it's not working. Technically, it works for 10 minutes and then turns off. I tried it with my old cheap Cree LED bulbs and it does the same thing. I think you get what you pay for but be aware it doesn't last long.

I use it as main battery for TANSOREN 4000 lumens bright waterproof LED bike light. I then left the battery that came with the lights in my MTB backpack as a backup. So between the two batteries I have about 5 hours of high beam. Very happy with it. With the TANSOREN 4000 it took about 8 hours with low beam. Make sure to charge it according to the instructions for the first time. And turn it off when not in use to keep the lights on. I haven't had any of the loading errors that some people have
