Really cool block of ice but doesn't last very long for the price. The block cracked on the ground and spilled water before freezing. Save yourself the hassle and buy another cheaper brand as they don't even over price stand behind their product. We built this Ice Chest component to be strong enough, and in our hundreds of tests across different devices and conditions, there were no issues. However, we have heard of this issue from a small percentage of our customers and are working to resolve it with our manufacturing partner. We still recommend that you try to keep your freeze time under 30 hours to avoid overloading the insert. In some high-efficiency freezer scenarios, you may only need 20 hours of freezing time or less. The ideal scenario is to have fully formed balls of ice and only water in the bottom tank, this amount of time is different for everyone. Can you confirm the best address for sending a replacement? So I bought from their website along with a square dice insert. Worked fine for a while, back to frozen water throughout the freezer. Let's see if the company actually sends me one or more plastic trays so I can keep replacing them. Email Wintersmiths. No Answer.
