Just installed and while I can't say how long they will last I can tell you the price is about half what Lexus wanted and the installation takes 15 minutes. Also, they seem to be working fine. In fact, you can open the trunk without fear of your fingers slipping and it slamming. Lexus offered my wife over $350 to replace it. Called their parts department and they wanted over $100 just for the frames, CrAzY! As mentioned above, installation is very simple. They reuse original clips so as not to damage them. Luckily you only have to pry/bend them a bit to remove the posts. Also, if you're doing it alone, I'd recommend having an extra support stick to keep the trunk open. Once you remove the first rack the heavy trunk will fall on you (speaking from personal experience lol). Even if they only last a few years I would buy them again. It will still be cheaper than at the dealer.
