Great for easy use

No need from order to delivery. Another brand was ordered from another website, the date was pushed back 3 times and it looked like it was going to be cancelled. Then it just showed up, although tracking never showed it was delivered. So funny! Anyway, it has nothing to do with that. Accuracy is typical for its class, Β±5 least significant digits, rendering the last digit useless. My tests on certified gear show they meet these specs, but how long the drift will last is an open question. When I turned it off and on again, the readings were slightly different. For such inexpensive gauges I prefer electronic switching and wouldn't even consider a manual device since you rely on switch contacts. A neutral thing. It uses AAA cells. Neither for nor against, but in my case I can't use it at work because there are only AA cells and more and 9V batteries. I will use my own tools but I don't need to provide any of my own materials. Another small flaw: In automatic mode, the voltage disappears when it falls below the threshold value. No mV range. Good? Basic accuracy is suitable for most household, educational, or hobby purposes. While I'm not blown away by the accuracy, it's still as good as anything I've tested for 5x the price. The resistance was right on the line, but the current was within the last two digits at 2A (my testing limit), and the frequency at 1.2kHz was as good as any general purpose handheld meter I've seen, around anyone Price. . (It always seems late. Even on expensive devices.) It has a range of capacities that actually seem to work. What can not be said about some. (I was only able to test this one to make sure it works. I don't have a certified meter to compare.) And the wires are very good. Comfortable handles and high quality wire. The display is nice and big, with good contrast. It's easy to read through glasses over glasses that distort vision. Has a built in flashlight. The no-touch voltage feature alone makes it useful for homeowners. It is easy to use with a dedicated button and works as advertised. Result? The Rhode and Schwartz folks won't lose their sleep over this, but if your needs are reasonable, you can't go wrong with this.
