Review on ๐Ÿƒ Efficient Hand Cranked Card Shuffler for Two Decks by Joe Nieves

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent shuffler and card usage extension

2 things would probably make it 5 stars but it's not game breaking. Most cons are "soft" which is why I'm still giving this one 4 stars - thought it should have come with an extra handle. I did not. As others have pointed out, one side actually feeds more cards than the other. Easy workaround: just load one side a little more than the other. PROS: + It helps a lot to keep your cards in good condition and you can shuffle them well. + Cards in SLEEVES are still fine (no slack, perfect shuffling) if you have expensive board games with stacks of player cards you tuck up your sleeve to salvage. CONS: I wish the crank and shaft were metal because I'm afraid they will break. I handle it with care but would not trust it to withstand abuse from children using it. - The internals sound like they are made of plastic, but I didn't take them apart to know. I'm not sure about the durability of gears. Cards sometimes stick, especially if the cards themselves are not in pristine condition. If you can't wriggle out, you need to take out the card tray and pull out the stuck cards. However, stuck cards don't appear to be bent, it's just that sometimes the card doesn't shuffle evenly, but runs vertically, preventing unshuffled cards from entering the card slot.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Accessibility to exchange
