This shuffle makes me laugh, you can. Only turn the knob about 3-5 turns before it falls off and if you are lucky it will shuffle the cards exactly as you put them in so there isn't even a proper shuffle. You shouldn't even try to put the pin in the hole for it to even run. Card wheels or fingers are flat dot wheels and they don't pick up cards evenly or close to the alternate pattern so 3 are drawn straight from the left and then 1 from the right. This works well with various board games that involve shuffling decks of cards. I like it best when there are too many to mix by hand, but also when there are too few. 2 things would probably make it 5 stars but it's not game breaking. Most cons are "soft" which is why I'm still giving this one 4 stars - thought it should have come with an extra handle. I did not. As others have pointed out, one side actually feeds more cards than the other. Easy workaround: just load one side a little more than the other.
