When arthritis started biting my fingers, I was upset. Shuffling the cards shouldn't do much harm. When I broke down and bought this one, I was disappointed at first. Not in the product, but in the need for the product. My husband and I play an average of 15-20 hands a day and neither of us could shuffle more. It may seem pretty cheap, but don't confuse cheap with cheap. It has lasted for several months of daily use. And as a bonus, our cards last longer and don't break easily. Small rubber stoppers would be a great idea for this article, but we'll just use a non-slip mat and it will stay in place while we shuffle the cards. Easy to use, lightweight and reliable. I'm so glad we found this item.
