This nifty little, very affordable machine is great. We removed the plastic tray that catches the cards because it just got in the way. When the cards get "hooked," just slowly flip the handle and they tend to lock in the middle of the shuffle. It's a lot quieter and a lot lighter than the battery-powered device we've had before, and we think it works very well. Turn the crank slowly and you'll have very few problems - sure, sometimes cards spin sideways in the collection shaft, but life isn't perfect!
