Ryerson University is a renowned and popular university. This university was formerly known as Institute of Technology within the year 1948–1966, and Ryerson Polytechnical Institute within the year range of 1966–1993 and

Ryerson Polytechnic University from 1993–2001 respectively.



This university is a public research university that is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with high esteemed reputation. The university's major campus is situated in between the Garden District but also operates facilities elsewhere in downtown Toronto. It was established in the year September 16, 1948.



This university is with high number of admited students which is sunmed approximately to be 44,400 undergraduates and 2,950 graduate students enrolled in this university during the 2019–20 academic year



Ryerson University is a publicly-funded university.



This university has been in operation since many years ago and operates seven academic faculties which are the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Communication and Design, the Faculty of Community Services, the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science, Faculty of Science, the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, and the Ted Rogers School of Management.



This university has several campus location, The university's central campus, The university operates more than 40 buildings with beautiful parks, plazas, and green spaces .



Another amazing thing is Ryerson University has a good Library which serves as the main academic library for the university, and is housed in an 11-storey structure form. This library is unique and provide student with all conviency like providing access to electronic resources including e-books, serial titles, and databases.



This university has Ryerson's Student Campus Centre that serves as the centre of student governance and student directed cultural, social, and recreational activities. The Student Campus Centre contains the offices of a number of student organizations which are the Ryerson Students' Union, The Eyeopener student newspaper, and other student groups.



This university has had a good and standard houses student lounges, study areas, computer labs and restaurants.



This university has Ryerson Image Centre as a complex which is located on campus that serves as a photography museum and houses Ryerson's School of Image Arts. This university image center centre also has offices, screening rooms, and storage facilities for the university's photographic collection to avoid discomfort.



Another good things is the Housing and student facilities which comprises of three student residences with thousands of beds on their campus including the Daphne Cockwell Complex, the International Living known as the oldest student residence, & Learning Centre, and Pitman Hall.



This university has good academic session with academic year functions on a three-term system, fall, winter, and spring/summer.



The university engages in a number of scholarly research activities and that is why they are ranked as the number 23rd out of 50 Canadian research universities.



The admission process is good and differ depending on nationality, The requirements for admission differ between students from Ontario, students from other provinces in Canada, and students based outside of Canada, they have both full-time and part-time undergraduate students.



This university has several student-operated media outlets at the university, including student newspapers and a campus radio station. They also have university's sports teams are known as the Ryerson Rams, and participates in U Sports' Ontario University Athletics conference . their sports range from badminton, basketball, fencing, figure skating, ice hockey, soccer, and volleyball while The university's athletic department also maintains several other sports clubs for baseball, crickets, cross country, curling, dragon boat, esports, rugby, table tennis, track and field, ultimate frisbee, and wrestling.
