Driver's left side convex mirror

Somehow this manufacturer builds the top mirror convex instead of flat. Now I see that other reviewers have made similar comments for the passenger side. I've never seen the driver's side primary mirror convex - it distorts distance and can be dangerous. Passenger-side side mirrors are often convex to compensate for blind spots, but this is not necessary with this mirror as there is an upper flat mirror and a lower convex mirror. I will return this item.
