Amazing things! Glass care

Unfortunately I used a 3M ScotchBrite wet wipe to remove significant limescale stains on car glass. Big mistake! Impregnated with carborundum, this pad will scratch the glass like hell, turning it into a haze that looks like frosted glass! Nothing, nothing could remove those scratches except cerium oxide powder. It was a lot of work with a hard felt buffing pad on a drill powered from an outlet. A cordless drill will break too quickly due to the significant pressure and force required to rotate the pad. Eventually the glass became transparent again. Just be sure to protect the rest of the car or whatever is nearby from splashes being spurted in all directions by the fairing! I now use this paste to hand buff my windshield with a rag before finishing the RainX glass. This will remove wipe marks and road grime. Notable things.
