I've tried many other GPS mounts and they either didn't hold or didn't fit. Also the one offered by Garmin is not that good! I just ordered this set of 2 Garmin suction cup mounts and installed them in my car. I'm very impressed with how sticky they are on both sides! I even found it very difficult to lift the plate from the cup and had to use all the strength of my fingers to do it. My GPS is quite heavy and now reads very reliably. The extension is strong and very comfortable, especially for small ladies like me who have "short" arms! I wish I had bought them much sooner as they really are a MUST HAVE for any car/SUV/truck/golf cart/etc. My dash isn't even flat and stays put like I applied super glue! I am very happy with my purchase and would buy again if needed. I will definitely recommend it to everyone I know.
