Just put this on our trailer's spare tire. Offers protection from the sun's UV rays, which take such a toll on tires. I prefer these white cases as they seem to be more durable than black or darker colors. I've had a few of these covers over the years and often paid a lot more. This one has just replaced one that appears to be of the same material and made just as well as the previous ones, but costs twice as much. I think I'll go ahead and buy another one to have on hand for the future. They all eventually wear out through the elements. Because it's designed with a stretchy elastic cord in the back, it should stay up in the wind blowing down the street. But since our spare tire is mounted on the front of our trailer, we blew off another one. The dense cord around the coating and tread of the tire is a simple protection. I've also added another lanyard in the middle for extra protection against loss.
