They make great cold coffee with no mess!

Well, I like cold coffee. I do about 6 liters every 10 days, give or take. I have a 12 liter basket for soaking but ended up having to deal with the bottom. I filtered through cheesecloth and it was messy and time consuming. In addition, despite the use of 50-channel fabric, the coffee "sludge" still remained. Then I came across this one! I discussed what size to get - I use a 12 ounce bag of coffee to brew 6 liters. I was hoping that 6" x 10" would fit all the coffee. It happened! Not much, but I was able to fit all of the coffee in the bag into a filter bag with enough room to tie. There is a loop on one side for tying. I tied the tie as tight as I could, then knotted it about 1/2 inch, looped the cord around the top of the bag, and tied it back in place for added security. Then he lowered her into the water and held her tight. and let it submerge until it's nice and wet and leave it for 12 hours. When it was done I used a strainer to keep the water out of the bag so it could drip back into the coffee instead of being wasted. Then I poured it into coffee. my fridge container. Not a single land escaped - and I didn't see a silt! This coffee was great! When I get to the bottom I'll know if I missed the mud lol. But it was so much easier than dealing with all that loose soil. We recommend! Edited to add: I got to the bottom of my container, not a drop of silt! There is usually a lot of silt on the bottom. Very satisfied!
