I love cast iron quality. It is pre-ripened, which increases the quality. The Lodge brand is made in Tennessee, which I really like. I made the chili and the soup, and then I made the roast beef, which melts in your mouth. The cast iron lid fits snugly. Cleaning was also very easy. Love love love this cast iron Dutch Lodge stove.
