Review on 🐠 Efficient Aquarium Maintenance with S.T. International Aquarium Surface Skimmer by Allison Jones

I bought this as a surface skimmer for my Aquatop CF400UV 4 Stage Canister Filter which runs in an 89 gallon freshwater aquarium. The Aquatop canister has a skimmer connection on the inlet pipes but no skimmer mount. I used the float, downspout and suction cup from this skimmer. The dip tube fits over the skimmer connection of the Aquatop suction tube. A good solution for €15 and takes up little space in the aquarium. Within minutes, the normal surface oils on the surface of my 850+ square inch aquarium were completely gone. There were no problems sucking air into the canister as the main branch of the canister inlet tube provided most of the sucked water.
