Review on 📡 Cisco-Linksys WMP54GS Wireless-G PCI Card with SpeedBooster: Enhanced Connectivity for Optimal Performance by Chuck Shapiro

I installed this on my computer with a slot 3 slots away from my DVI slot (digital LCD monitor port) and it was causing horrible interference when I restarted the computer and the monitor was off most of the time rebooting and flashing, and then eventually came back. I've tried moving the included antenna but to no avail. The reception was not very good and I had to buy a separate external antenna. Finally, with an external antenna, my monitor doesn't dim, but I ended up spending about $100 to make my desktop wireless. Speed wise I have nothing to compare as I upgraded my entire network from wireless b to g and everything is better than b. Also, my router is linksys srx, it has higher reception and runs at 108Mbps so the network is fast from the start. I only bought this unit because the SRX version was out of stock. Once the srx version goes on sale, this device will serve as a replacement for customers' computers in the store to connect to a wireless LAN.
