Excellent mounting bracket

This was my first wall mount so I really didn't know what to expect when I ordered this mounting bracket. However, I have read reviews from several different devices and the Sanus VMPL3-B seems to come out on top in terms of user reviews. I finally settled on this system based on the positive reviews and the fact that it supports TVs over 55 inches. I am very happy with this mount. As others have described it's extremely durable, easy to install and comes with all the bolts, screws, washers and spacers you could possibly need. The fact that it includes both flat mounting brackets and brackets you use to tilt your TV is an added bonus Bonus Essentially a two piece system Includes wall plate. into three parts (so that it is packed in a small box). You assemble them into one wide block (the three pieces overlap) and then screw it to two or three posts in the wall. Be sure to use a spirit level at this point. Period - there's no way to tilt the TV left or right once the flat mount is secured to the wall, so make sure the wall mount is level. Then, if you want to tilt the TV down (if you're mounting it high on the wall), use the tilting brackets. If you want the TV to sit flat against the wall, use brackets. In both cases, the brackets screw directly to the back of the TV through the VESA mounting screw holes. I chose the flat mount as I wanted the TV to be as close to the wall as possible. The sloping brackets are a little deeper, allowing the TV to be mounted a little farther from the wall. It took two of us to lift my Β£160 Panasonic TV onto the wall plate, but it was fairly easy to hook the brackets in the back. TV to the wall plate and after moving the locking levers down it turned out to be a very strong and secure mount. I don't worry about it detaching from the wall until I want to take it off. I can highly recommend the Sanus VMPL3-B.
